Hydroseeding
A premium seed, mulch and fertiliser blend, sprayed onto prepared soil.
Hydroseeding in Perth gives you a thick, even lawn grown from seed and sprayed on in a single visit, for a fraction of the cost of roll-on lawn.
We don't lay lawns. We grow them – from seed, sprayed on, for a fraction of the cost of turf.
Hydroseeding mixes premium grass seed, mulch, fertiliser and water in one tank, then sprays it evenly over your prepared soil. The mulch keeps the seed moist and protected while it sprouts, so you get a thick lawn with roots that grow straight into your own ground.
Grass grows in your soil from day one – no rolls, no joins, no lifting edges.
Full sun, shade or kids and dogs – we match the seed to how you'll use it.
Slide to your lawn size and see what you'd pay for each – then see where turf still wins.

The questions people ask before choosing seed over turf. Can't see yours?
Most residential lawns fall between $2 and $4 per square metre, depending on the size of the area, access and how much prep the soil needs. We give you a fixed, itemised price before any work starts.
You'll see green in about 7–10 days. Light foot traffic is fine after roughly 4 weeks, and most lawns are ready for their first mow at around 6 weeks.
Once it's established, yes – and often better. Because the grass grows from seed in your own soil, the roots go deeper and there are no seams. The trade-off is time: turf looks finished on day one.
Spring and early autumn are ideal in Perth, when the soil is warm and the heat is manageable. We can spray at other times with the right mulch and blend, as long as the lawn gets enough water while it establishes.
Light, frequent watering for the first few weeks, usually a few short sessions a day. Water Corporation's new-lawn exemption lets you water outside your rostered days while it establishes.
Bare, level soil that's free of weeds and rubble, with a wetting agent worked into water-repellent sand. If your yard isn't there yet, we can take care of the prep for you.
The mulch and a natural tackifier bind the seed to the soil, so normal rain helps rather than hurts. A very heavy storm in the first couple of weeks can wash patches on slopes, which is why we time the spray around the weather where we can.
